He Calms & He Cheers

When the cares of my heart are many, your consolations cheer my soul. —Psalm 94:19 (ESV)

When your heart is burdened by many cares, cast them upon the Lord because He cares for you. (See 1 Peter 5:7) And let the peace of God rule in your heart and in your mind. He has given us His Holy Spirit as our Helper and Comforter. Trust in the LORD forever, for in YAH, the LORD, is everlasting strength. (Isaiah 26:4 NKJV)

If God hadn’t been there for me, I never would have made it. The minute I said, “I’m slipping, I’m falling,” your love, God, took hold and held me fast. When I was upset and beside myself, you calmed me down and cheered me up. —Psalm 94:17-19 (MSG)
