Choose Life

Noah did this; he did all that God commanded him. —Genesis 6:22 (ESV)

In Genesis 6:14, God instructed Noah to build an ark. Because of Noah’s obedience, Noah, his sons, his wife and his sons’ wives with him went into the ark and escaped the flood. (See Genesis 7:7) “Everything on the dry land in whose nostrils was the breath of life died.” (Genesis 7:22 ESV)

Know that our heavenly Father loves us, He wants the best for us and He already has good plans for us. When we obey His commands it is for our good. “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.” (Proverbs 14:12 ESV) The enemy will always entice us with a way that seems easier or more enjoyable, but it leads to death. He only wants to steal, kill and destroy. Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly. (See John 10:10) When we choose God's way, we choose life.

Be Captivated by Christ
