Run with Endurance

My fellow believers, when it seems as though you are facing nothing but difficulties, see it as an invaluable opportunity to experience the greatest joy that you can! For you know that when your faith is tested it stirs up in you the power of endurance. —James 1:2-3 (TPT)

Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised. (Hebrews 10:36 NLT) So don’t allow your hearts to grow spiritually dull and indifferent, or lose your enthusiasm, but follow the example of those who fully received what God has promised because of their strong faith and patient endurance. (See Hebrews 6:12 TPT/NLT) Have great endurance in hardships and in persecutions. And don’t lose courage in a time of stress and calamity. (See 2 Corinthians 6:4 TPT)

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. —Hebrews 12:1 (NLT)
