Called & Chosen

They will wage war against the Lamb (Christ), and the Lamb will triumph and conquer them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him and on His side are the called and chosen (elect) and faithful.” —Revelation 17:14 (AMP)

Believers are the called and chosen of God. Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. (Ephesians 1:4 NLT) God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. (1 Corinthians 1:9 NKJV) First Peter 2:9 says we are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that we may proclaim the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light. We are called into His light and into fellowship with Jesus Christ. Galatians 5:13 says: For you, brethren, have been called to liberty... In addition, Romans 8:28 (NKJV) says: all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. He has a good plan and a purpose for all who believe. Let us be found faithful to Jesus and the calling God has on our lives. There will be battles to fight but the war is already won.

Oh, love the LORD, all you His saints! For the LORD preserves the faithful, and fully repays the proud person. —Psalm 31:23 (NKJV)
