Perfect & Constant

“You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You—in both inclination and character], because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation].” —Isaiah 26:3 (AMP)

When you dwell on the mountains before you, they seem to grow bigger. When your mind is committed to and focused on the LORD, He will keep you in perfect peace. The mountains melt like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth. (Psalm 97:5 NKJV) Set your mind on the Prince of Peace. Let the peace of God rule in your heart. He has given us His perfect peace. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. Let His perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge. (See John 14:27 AMP)

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. —Philippians 4:6-7 (NLT)
