Rely Only on God

We think you ought to know, dear brothers and sisters, about the trouble we went through in the province of Asia. We were crushed and overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure, and we thought we would never live through it. In fact, we expected to die. But as a result, we stopped relying on ourselves and learned to rely only on God, who raises the dead. —2 Corinthians 1:8-9 (NLT)

Do not be deceived and put your confidence in human ability, nor strength. Rely on God. His wisdom and guidance. His healing and strength. Rely on His salvation. His lovingkindness and compassion. Be confident in His goodness and faithfulness. Trust in His mercy and grace. In 2 Corinthians 1:10 (NLT) the Apostle Paul says: God did rescue us from mortal danger, and he will rescue us again. We have placed our confidence in him, and he will continue to rescue us. Keep your trust and confidence in YAHWEH. He will rescue you again and draw you near to Him.

Be Captivated by Christ
