Do Not be Deceived

Little children, make sure no one deceives you; the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous; the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil. —1 John 3:7-8 (NASB1995)

Do not let anyone lead you astray. Abide in God and follow His Holy Scriptures. …for false Christs and false prophets will arise, and will show signs and wonders, in order to lead astray, if possible, the elect. (Mark 13:22 NASB1995) We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one. (1 John 5:19 NKJV)  The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever. (1 John 2:17 NASB1995) 

You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. —1 John 4:4 (NASB1995) Amen.
