Long for Him

Therefore the LORD longs to be gracious to you, and therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the LORD is a God of justice; How blessed are all those who long for Him. —Isaiah 30:18 (NASB1995)

YAHWEH longs to show us His love and compassion. May we desire His Presence more than anything this world has to offer. Long for His will and His good plans. See what great love the Father has lavished on us! He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. He has showered his kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding. (Ephesians 1:7-8 NLT) For since the world began, no ear has heard and no eye has seen a God like you, Who works and acts in behalf of the one who gladly waits for Him. (Isaiah 64:4 NLT/AMP)

The LORD’s lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is His faithfulness. “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I have hope in Him.” The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, to the person who seeks Him. It is good that he waits silently for the salvation of the LORD. (See Lamentations 3:22-26 NASB1995) 

I stretch out my hands to You; my soul longs for You, as a parched land. Selah. —Psalm 143:6 (NASB1995)

Be Captivated by Christ
