Where is Your Treasure?

“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matthew 6:19-21 (NASB1995)

Any material thing this world has to offer is temporary. Earthly goods have no eternal value, and they do not satisfy. May our heart’s desire be for the treasures of heaven. First and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness (See Matthew 6:33 AMP). Cherish His Presence more than anything. Luke 6:45 (AMP) says: The [intrinsically] good man produces what is good and honorable and moral out of the good treasure [stored] in his heart. Seek to dwell in the house of the LORD [in His presence] all the days of your life. (See Psalm 27:4 AMP) Let us treasure the Word of God in our hearts that we may not sin against Him. (See Psalm 119:11) May we adore and be devoted to our Savior, the King of kings and the Lord of lords, the Prince of peace and the Precious Corner Stone: Yahusha. Center your life around Him. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be disappointed.” (Romans 10:11 NASB1995)

Guard [with greatest care] and keep unchanged, the treasure [that precious truth] which has been entrusted to you [that is, the good news about salvation through personal faith in Christ Jesus]… 2 Timothy 1:14 (AMP)
