Trust God

For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD gives grace and glory; No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly. O LORD of hosts, how blessed is the man who trusts in You! —Psalm 84:11-12 (NASB1995)

The LORD is a sun. He provides light to show us the way. He is a shield, protecting us from the fiery darts of the wicked one. In 2 Corinthians 1:8-10, when affliction came upon Paul and his traveling companions, he says they were crushed and overwhelmed beyond their ability to endure. They thought they would never live through it. However, in the midst of their troubles, they learned not to trust in themselves, but in God who raises the dead. God is our deliverer. No matter what you may be going through, keep your trust in YAHWEH. Set your hope on Him. He will outlast any storm in your life.

Lord, You have been our dwelling place [our refuge, our sanctuary, our stability] in all generations. Before the mountains were born or before You had given birth to the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, You are [the eternal] God. —Psalm 90:1-2 (AMP)

Be Captivated by Christ
