Do You Love God?

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. —Romans 8:28 (NASB1995)

We know Yahweh is able to make all things work together for good in our lives. The question is, do we love God? For the [true] love of God is this: that we habitually keep His commandments and remain focused on His precepts. And His commandments and His precepts are not difficult [to obey]. (1 John 5:3 NASB1995 AMP) And what is the great and foremost commandment? It says: “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.” The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ (See Matthew 22:37-39 NASB1995)

No matter what difficulties come into our lives, may we love God, love our neighbor as ourself [that is, unselfishly seek the best or higher good for others] (See Matthew 2239 AMP), and be guided continually by His precepts and purpose. Then we can be certain that whatever we go through, God will work it together for good. Amen.

Be Captivated by Christ
