Our Calling

God is faithful, through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. —1 Corinthians 1:9 (NASB1995)

We are called to live a close and intimate relationship with the King of kings and the Lord of lords, to abide in Him, at all times. We are called to follow Him, wherever He leads us. We are called into the comfort of His love and His perfect peace. Let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful. (See Colossians 3:15 NLT) ...you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love. (Galatians 5:13 NLT)

We are called to conform into His image. For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And having chosen them, he called them to come to him… (See Romans 8:29-30 NLT) among whom you also are the called of Jesus Christ; (Romans 1:6 NKJV) Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, (Ephesians 4:1 NASB1995)
