Never Abandoned

We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. —2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (NLT)

Just as the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people, both now and forever. (Psalm 125:2 NLT) He surrounds us with songs of victory. (See Psalm 32:7) Even if your father and mother abandon you, the LORD will hold you close. (See Psalm 27:10 NLT) Yahweh will never leave you, nor forsake you. Have patient perseverance and He will deliver you out of all trouble.

The LORD will work out his plans for my life— for your faithful love, O LORD, endures forever. Don’t abandon me, for you made me. —Psalm 138:8 (NLT)
