Find Strength in the LORD

When David and his men came to the city, behold, it was burned with fire, and their wives and their sons and their daughters had been taken captive. Then David and the people who were with him lifted their voices and wept until there was no strength in them to weep. —1 Samuel 30:3-4 (NASB1995)

Further, David was greatly distressed because the people spoke of stoning him, for all of them were embittered, each man for his sons and daughters. But David felt strengthened and encouraged in the LORD his God. (1 Samuel 30:6 AMP) When all seems lost, encourage yourself in Yahweh and your strength will be renewed. Psalm 29:11 (LSB) says: Yahweh will give strength to His people… 

In 1 Samuel 30:8, David inquired of the LORD. And the LORD said to him, “Pursue, for you will surely overtake them, and you will surely rescue all.” So David pursued and recovered all (See 1 Samuel 30:18 NASB1995) Now I know that the LORD saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand. (Psalm 20:6 NASB1995) Wait for and confidently expect the LORD; Be strong and let your heart take courage... (See Psalm 27:14 AMP)
