Take Refuge

May the LORD reward your work, and your wages be full from the LORD, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to seek refuge.” —Ruth 2:12 (NASB1995)

Ruth decided to stay with her mother-in-law, Naomi, and committed her life to Yahweh and was truly blessed. Believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him. (See Hebrews 11:6 NLT) God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalms 46:1 NASB1995) Let us take refuge in Him. This I declare about the LORD: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him. (Psalms 91:2 NLT) The LORD of Heaven’s Armies is here among us; the God of Israel is our fortress. Interlude (Psalms 46:7 NLT)

On God my salvation and my glory rest; The rock of my strength, my refuge is in God. Trust in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah. —Psalms 62:7-8 (NASB1995)
