Jump for Joy

Through our faith, the mighty power of God constantly guards us until our full salvation is ready to be revealed in the last time. May the thought of this cause you to jump for joy, even though lately you’ve had to put up with the grief of many trials. —1 Peter 1:5-6 (TPT)

We can jump for joy because our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever. (See 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 NLT) We can be filled with peace and joy knowing that the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one. (See 2 Thessalonians 3:3 NLT)
