In Due Time

Hannah was in deep anguish, crying bitterly as she prayed to the LORD. (1 Samuel 1:10 NLT) First  Samuel 15-16 NLT says, Hannah was very discouraged, and was pouring out heart heart to the LORD. She prayed out of great anguish and sorrow.

…When Elkanah slept with Hannah, the LORD remembered her plea, and in due time she gave birth to a son. She named him Samuel, for she said, “I asked the LORD for him.” —1 Samuel 1:19-20 (NLT)

Hannah’s son went on to faithfully serve the LORD, in the house of God. Samuel was a prophet and key leader to the Israelites. We should always pray and never give up. (See Luke 18:1) The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. (See James 5:16 NLT)  Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers and the LORD will answer, in due time.

Be Captivated by Christ

Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego replied to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to give you an answer concerning this matter.
