The Resurrection & The Life

Jesus told her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in me and believes in me will never ever die. Do you believe this, Martha?” —John 11:25-26 (NLT)

Martha replied that she did indeed believe. She said, “…I have always believed you are the Messiah, the Son of God, the one who has come into the world from God.” (John 11:27) Do you believe that Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said, that He was buried, and was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said? (See 1 Corinthians 15:3-4) For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives. (Romans 6:4) 

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation, (1 Peter 1:3 NLT). Because Jesus is the resurrection and the life, we can live new lives in Him, full of hope and expectation, overflowing with love and grace. Amen.
