Our Advocate

“Even now, behold, my Witness is in heaven, and my Advocate [who vouches and testifies for me] is on high.” —Job 16:19 (AMP)

Satan is the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses us before our God day and night. (See Revelation 12:10) But Jesus is our Mediator and Advocate. He intercedes for us, with the Father. For, there is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus.(1 Timothy 2:5 NLT) He offered Himself in exchange for everyone held captive by sin, to set them all free.

“You are my dear children, and I write these things to you so that you won’t sin. But if anyone does sin, we continually have a forgiving Redeemer who is face-to-face with the Father: Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.” (1 John 2:1-2 TPT) He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. (Psalm 37:6 NKJV)

Be Captivated by Christ
