Against All Odds

Against all odds, when it looked hopeless, Abraham believed the promise and expected God to fulfill it. He took God at his word, and as a result he became the father of many nations. God’s declaration over him came to pass: “Your descendants will be so many that they will be impossible to count!” —Romans 4:18 (TPT)

No matter how hopeless the situation may appear, keep believing God. Believe in His goodness and His unfailing love for you. Take God at His Word. He has it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. (See Jeremiah 29:11 MSG)

Nothing is too difficult for our great God. Abraham never stopped believing God’s promise, for he was made strong in his faith to father a child. And because he was mighty in faith and convinced that God had all the power needed to fulfill his promises, Abraham glorified God!” (See Romans 4:20-21 TPT) Never stop believing God and standing on His Word. For He has magnified His word above all His name. (See Psalm 138:2 NKJV)
