Remember Who You Are

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. —1 John 3:1 (NIV)

God is no respecter of persons (Acts 10:34 KJV). He accepts anyone who receives Jesus. For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 3:26 NLT) John 1:12 (AMP) says: But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the right [the authority, the privilege] to become children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name— 

What an awesome privilege and honor to be called children of the living God! He created us in His image. Don’t let the world tell you who you are. We know that we are children of God and that the world around us is under the control of the evil one. (1 John 5:19 NLT) Prove by the way you live that you have repented of your sins and turned to God (Matthew 3:8 NLT) When you walk away from the mirror of God’s Word remember who you are. (See James 1:23-24)
