Commit Completely

Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God. —Romans 6:13 (NLT)

Our generous and gracious God sacrificed His only Son and has given us His Holy Spirit, as our Helper and Comforter. Let your heart therefore be loyal to the LORD our God, to walk in His statutes and keep His commandments… (See 1 Kings 8:61 NKJV) For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. (See 2 Chronicles 16:9 NKJV)

Caleb and Joshua entered the promised land because they wholehearted followed the LORD. (See Numbers 32:12) Joshua 24:14 says, to fear the LORD and serve Him wholeheartedly. May we commit ourselves wholeheartedly to the LORD and His Word. Those who obey God’s word truly show how completely they love him. That is how we know we are living in him. (1 John 2:5 NLT) Choose today to commit yourself completely to the LORD.
