Christ at the Center


Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.

Keep Christ at the center of your life. Treasure Jesus in the very core of your being. Center your mind on Him, and He will illuminate each and every area. His light will shine brightly and reveal all you need to know, when you need to know. He will show you the way to go. Proverbs 4:18 (NASB1995) says: the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, that shines brighter and brighter until the full day.

Many in the crowd spread their garments on the road ahead of him, and others spread leafy branches they had cut in the fields. Jesus was in the center of the procession, and the people all around him were shouting, “Praise God! Blessings on the one who comes in the name of the LORD! Mark 11:8-9 (NLT)
