The Almighty One

“I am the Alpha and the Omega—the beginning and the end,” says the Lord God. “I am the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come—the Almighty One.” —Revelation 1:8 (NLT)

God has highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name: JESUS! He is Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. (See Isaiah 9:6) He is Immanuel, God with us. At the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (See Philippians 2:10-11)

Honor the LORD for the glory of his name. Worship the LORD in the beauty and majesty of His holiness. Let all the earth tremble before him. (See Psalm 29:2, 96:9 NLT/AMP)
