Never Doubt

Summoning two of his disciples, John sent them to the Lord, saying, “Are You the Expected One, or do we look for someone else?” —Luke 7:19 (NASB1995)

John the Baptist was the very one who declared that Jesus is the Lamb of God, Who takes away the sin of the world. (See John 1:29) In Mark 4, he was preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. However, as he sat in prison, he began to wonder if Jesus was the One. Never let adverse situations cause you to doubt or question Jesus or the ability of Almighty God. Jesus is the Messiah (which is translated, the Christ). (See John 1:41)

And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life. —1 John 5:20 (NASB1995)

Be Captivated by Christ
