And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. And behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth shook and the rocks were split. —Matthew 27:50-51 (NASB1995)

When Jesus gave His life and the veil of the temple was torn in two, we were given total access to commune with the Creator of Heaven and earth. That’s better than any back stage pass or first class accommodation. Abundant riches are available to us in Christ. For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich. (2 Corinthians 8:9) Let us fix our eyes on Jesus and draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (See Hebrews 4:16, 12:2) Jesus is our constant Companion. Open your heart and mind to Him today and enjoy sweet fellowship with the King of kings and the Lord of lords. He is the friend who sticks closer than a brother. (See Proverbs 18:24)
