Be Still

Be still before the LORD; wait patiently for Him and entrust yourself to Him; Do not fret (whine, agonize) because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who carries out wicked schemes. —Psalms 37:7 (AMP)

Instead of continually striving in sheer human strength after your own program and agenda, let your heart and mind be still in the presence of our Heavenly Father. Commit your way to Yahweh, trust in Him, and He will do it. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light and your judgment as the noonday. (Psalms 37:5-6 LSB) Keep trusting in the Lord and do what is right in his eyes. Fix your heart on the promises of God, and you will dwell in the land, feasting on his faithfulness. (Psalms 37:3 TPT) For one day the wicked will be destroyed, but those who trust in the Lord will inherit the land. (Psalms 37:9 TPT) When Yahweh delights in how you live your life, he establishes your every step. (Psalms 37:23 TPT)

The faithful lovers of God will inherit the earth and enjoy every promise of God’s care, dwelling in peace forever. —Psalms 37:29 (TPT)
