Return to Yahweh

Let us test and examine our ways, and let us return to the LORD. Let us lift up our hearts and our hands [in prayer] toward God in heaven; —Lamentations 3:40-41 (AMP)

We tend to examine the lives of others and give unsolicited commentary. However, the Word of God tells us to examine ourselves. Second Corinthians 13:5 (AMP) says: Test and evaluate yourselves to see whether you are in the faith and living your lives as [committed] believers. Examine yourselves [not me]! “Now your souls will be strengthened and healed if you hold steadfast to your faith…” (See 2 Corinthians 13:5 TPT) For the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel has said this, “In returning [to Me] and rest you shall be saved, in quietness and confident trust is your strength.” But you were not willing, (Isaiah 30:15 AMP).

Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts; And let him return to Yahweh, and He will have compassion on him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon. (Isaiah 55:7 LSB)  Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord; (Acts 3:19 LSB).

Know & Believe

We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. First Corinthians 8:3 (AMP) says: …if anyone loves God [with awe-filled reverence, obedience and gratitude], he is known by Him [as His very own and is greatly loved]. Let His love seep into every pore and fiber of your being. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Messiah Yeshua our Lord. Don't Drift

So by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to take hold of the hope set before us. — Hebrews 6:18 (TLV) We have this hope as an anchor of the soul, both firm and steady—a hope that enters the inner place behind the curtain.
