Choose Life

“See, I have set before you today life and prosperity, and death and calamity; in that I am commanding you today to love Yahweh your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His judgments, that you may live and multiply, and that Yahweh your God may bless you in the land where you are entering to possess it.” —Deuteronomy 30:15-16 (LSB)

Yeshua is God with us. (See Matthew 1:21, 23 TLV) He came that we may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]. (See John 10:10b AMP) The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. (See John 10:10a AMP) Satan is our enemy, not our friend. He is against us and our awesome God is for us. Yet, there are multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of Yahweh is near in the valley of decision. (See Joel 3:14 LSB). Just as the Israelites in the Old Testament were given a choice, we too must make a decision. Choose for yourselves today whom you will serve? (See Joshua 24:15) Choose life! Serve the God Most High.

“For this commandment which I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you, nor is it far from you. But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it.” —Deuteronomy 30:11, 14 (LSB)

Know & Believe

We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. First Corinthians 8:3 (AMP) says: …if anyone loves God [with awe-filled reverence, obedience and gratitude], he is known by Him [as His very own and is greatly loved]. Let His love seep into every pore and fiber of your being. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Messiah Yeshua our Lord. Don't Drift

So by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to take hold of the hope set before us. — Hebrews 6:18 (TLV) We have this hope as an anchor of the soul, both firm and steady—a hope that enters the inner place behind the curtain. Yeshua has entered there as a forerunner on our behalf… (See Hebrews 19-20 TLV). When we take hold of the hope we have in Yeshua, it serves as an anchor, to keep us from drifting away from Yahweh. In stormy times, our hope is an anchor of the soul that will keep us closely connected to Him. It cannot slip and it cannot break down under whatever pressure bears upon it.
