Seek After God

Seek the LORD, all who are humble, and follow his commands. Seek to do what is right and to live humbly. Perhaps even yet the LORD will protect you— protect you from his anger on that day of destruction. —Zephaniah 2:3 (NLT)

May we purposefully and passionately pursue to know the LORD and be known by Him. “His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him—though he is not far from any one of us. For in him we live and move and exist. As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’” (Acts 17:27-28 NLT) To know Him is to love Him and trust Him. And as we get to know Him we are to become more like Him: loving, kind, generous and gracious. Second Corinthians 3:18 (AMP) says: we all, with unveiled face, continually seeing as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are progressively being transformed into His image from [one degree of] glory to [even more] glory, which comes from the Lord, [who is] the Spirit.

“I will leave in your midst a meek and humble people, and they shall trust in the name of the LORD.” —Zephaniah 3:12 (NKJV)

Know & Believe

We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Messiah Yeshua our Lord. So by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to take hold of the hope set before us. — Hebrews 6:18 (TLV) We have this hope as an anchor of the soul, both firm and steady—a hope that enters the inner place behind the curtain.
