There is No Other

“I am the LORD, and there is no one else; There is no God except Me. I will embrace and arm you, though you have not known Me, that people may know from the rising to the setting of the sun [the world over] that there is no one except Me. I am the LORD, and there is no other…” —Isaiah 45:5-6 (AMP)

In Isaiah 45:12 (NLT) the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says: I am the one who made the earth and created people to live on it. With my hands I stretched out the heavens. All the stars are at my command. In Isaiah 45:22-23 (NASB1995) He says: “Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other. I have sworn by Myself, the word has gone forth from My mouth in righteousness and will not turn back, that to Me every knee will bow, every tongue will swear allegiance.” “I am Yahweh, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another or My praise to idols.” (Isaiah 42:8 HCSB) Let your trust and hope rest on Him. Set your affection and allegiance on Yahweh. His desire is for us to know Him.

“ “You are My witnesses,” says the LORD, “And My servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, nor shall there be after Me. I, even I, am the LORD, and besides Me there is no savior.” —Isaiah 43:10-11 (NKJV)
