The Called & Chosen

“These will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him are the called and chosen and faithful.” —Revelation 17:14 (NASB1995)

In his kindness, the God of all grace, called us to His eternal glory in Christ. (See 1 Peter 5:10) He called us out of darkness and into His marvelous light. We are a chosen generation. (See 1 Peter 2:9) Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. (Ephesians 1:4 NLT) Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance. (Psalm 33:12 NKJV) 

We are the called and chosen, may we be faithful to Yahweh and obey His Word. Let us be faithful followers of Christ, all of our days. Ensure that He is always your first love. In Revelation 2:10 (NASB1995), Jesus said: “Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.” Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ… (See 2 Corinthians 2:14 NKJV) No matter what we go through in this life, victory belongs to us, the called, the chosen and the faithful. Amen!

Be Captivated by Christ
