Rejoice in the Lord Always!

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. —Philippians  4:4-5 (NASB1995)

How often are we to rejoice? The Word says to rejoice at ALL times. Why? Because the Lord is near! The LORD is close to all who call on him, yes, to all who call on him in truth. (Psalm 145:18 NLT) Don’t be anxious for anything because our awesome God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (See Philippians 4:6 & 4:19) Let us be filled with joy that God rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son and of His kingdom there will be no end. (See Colossians 1:3 & Luke 1:33) His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and His dominion endures throughout all generations. (See Psalm 145:13) We can rejoice that whether we live or die we belong to the Lord.  If we live, it’s to honor the Lord. And if we die, it’s to honor the Lord. (See Romans 14:8) …to live is Christ and to die is gain. (Philippians 1:21) Amen. Never let the enemy steal your joy.

Finally, my fellow believers, continue to rejoice and delight in the Lord. To write the same things again is no trouble for me, and it is a safeguard for you. —Philippians 3:1 (AMP)
