He Directs Our Steps

I waited patiently for the LORD; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps. He has put a new song in my mouth— Praise to our God; Many will see it and fear, and will trust in the LORD. —Psalm 40:1-3 (NKJV)

We may plan our way, as we journey through life, but it is the LORD Who directs our steps and establishes them. Psalm 37:23 (NLT) says: He delights in every detail of our lives. Even though we get tripped up, we will not fall on our faces, because the LORD holds us by the hand. (See Proverbs 16:9 AMP & Psalm 37:23-24 VOICE) When you don't know what to do, seek His guidance. Yahweh will make known to you the path that leads to life. He not only directs our steps, He also gives us strength for the journey. 

Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. —Isaiah 40:30-31 (NLT)
