Fight the Good Fight

…fight the good fight, keeping faith and a good conscience, which some have rejected and suffered shipwreck in regard to their faith. —1 Timothy 1:18-19 (NASB1995)

We fight the good fight of faith by setting our minds on things above, not on the things that are on earth. (See Colossians 3:2) Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. (See Matthew 6:33) But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful desires which plunge men into ruin and destruction. But flee from these things, you man of God, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance and gentleness. (1 Timothy 6:9,6:11 NASB1995) 

Stay away from every kind of evil. And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father. (See 1 Thessalonians 5:22 & Colossians 3:17 NLT)
