Complete Trust

Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD and whose trust is the LORD. For he will be like a tree planted by the water, that extends its roots by a stream and will not fear when the heat comes; but its leaves will be green, and it will not be anxious in a year of drought nor cease to yield fruit. —Jeremiah 17:7-8 (NASB1995)

In Jeremiah 17:5 (NLT), this is what the LORD says: “Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans, who rely on human strength and turn their hearts away from the LORD.” Your favorite person is not able to save you. May we put our hope and confidence in YAHWEH and never turn our hearts away from Him. We can become anxious when we worry about future events. Stay in the present moment and take each step in faith, knowing that He is with you. Remember, Christ lives in us. So we live in our earthly bodies by completely trusting in the Son of God, who loved us and gave Himself up for us. (See Galatians 2:20)

Be Captivated by Christ
