The King of Glory

Lift up your heads, O gates, and be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in! Who is the King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O gates, and lift them up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in! Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah. —Psalm 24:7-10 (NASB1995)

The LORD is the King of glory who rules over all creation with His heavenly armies. (See Psalm 24:10 AMP) In Exodus 3:14, God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM” He is the great I AM (Yah). Yahweh (YHWH) is His name. He is the Self-Existent One and all that we need. He is Jehovah-Rohi, the Lord our Shepherd. He is Jehovah-Shalom who keeps in perfect peace all who trust in Him, all whose thoughts are fixed on Him! (See Isaiah 26:3 NLT) He is Jehovah-Rapha the Lord who heals. He is Jehovah-Shammah, our ever-present God. He will never leave us nor forsake us. Open your heart to Him today. And be led with His Holy Spirit. May you walk in a manner worthy of the God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory. (See 1 Thessalonians 2:12)

Be Captivated by Christ
