And always be thankful. — Colossians 3:15 (NLT) We are called to live in peace. It is supposed to rule in our hearts, not fear, not anxiety, nor worry, but peace. We are not to only experience moments of peace, when it seems everything has come into perfect alignment. Our peace is to be consistent and continual, regardless of external circumstances. The Amplified Bible describes it as the inner calm of one who walks daily with Christ. (See Colossians 3:15 AMP) We can only have this perfect peace when we rely fully on God and trust Him, that no matter what is going on in our lives, and in this world, He is working everything together for good. If our peace is based on the constantly changing conditions of this world, it will never be stable. Our peace has to come from within us where the Holy Spirit of God dwells. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. Instead, let His perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge. The LORD will give strength to His people; The LORD will bless His people with peace. — Psalm 29:11(NASB1995) Jesus, the Prince of Peace, dwells within us. The One who commanded the wind and waves to be still and they obeyed. (See Mark 4:39-41 NLT) He has given us His peace. Let it guard your heart and mind at all times. Be at peace with yourself. Jesus has made peace for us with our heavenly Father. And we are to dwell with others in peace. Seek peace and pursue it. (See Psalm 34:14 AMP) If we are not living in peace, we are allowing the thief to steal, kill and destroy. (See John 10:10)  Even though we have tribulation, distress and suffering in this world, we have the perfect peace of God, in Christ. His victory abides. (See John 16:33 AMP)  “…the mountains may be removed and the hills may shake, but My lovingkindness will not be removed from you, and My covenant of peace will not be shaken,” says the LORD who has compassion on you.” — Isaiah 54:10 (NASB1995)

Seek and deeply long for the LORD and His strength [His power, His might]; Seek and deeply long for His face and His presence continually. — Psalm 105:4 (AMP) May the deepest cry and desire of our hearts be for the presence of Almighty God. In His Presence, we have access to His strength and power to overcome obstacles and triumph over the tricks of the enemy. In His Presence, we experience abiding peace that surpasses human comprehension and causes us to rise above earthly circumstances. In His Presence, His love, mercies and grace are generously poured into our hearts and made available for us to give to others. In  His Presence we are empowered to fulfill His wonderful purpose and plan for our lives. May we continually plug into His Presence.

Though I am the least deserving of all God’s people, he graciously gave me the privilege of telling the Gentiles about the endless treasures available to them in Christ. — Ephesians 3:8 (NLT) In Christ we have unsearchable riches and endless treasures available to us. Endless! They never stop. We receive a continuous flow of His amazing love. He gives us a deep, abiding peace that is available in any and every situation. We have everlasting joy. His living Word is a great treasure, that stands forever. In Christ lie hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. (Colossians 2:3). If we lack wisdom, we can ask of God and He gives to all liberally. (James 1:5) Never forget the good things he does for us. He forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases. He redeems us from death and crowns us with love and tender mercies. He fills our lives with good things. (Psalm 103:2-5)

My soul, wait only upon God and silently submit to Him; for my hope and expectation are from Him. — Psalm 62:5 (AMP) Frustration often comes when our reality doesn’t line up with our expectations. We expected something or someone to be a certain way, by a certain time and it has not happened yet. That is where we are to let patience work in us. May we continue to do our part and wait patiently for God’s perfect timing to bring about the desired outcome. Accepting where God has us right now, will keep us in His river of deep and abiding peace and we will just flow into whatever God has for us at the appointed time.

LORD, I have loved the habitation of Your house, and the place where Your glory dwells. — Psalm 26:8 (NKJV) In the secret place where the glory of the LORD dwells, there is everlasting life, abiding peace and an extravagant love that never ends. In His Presence, there is fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore. His marvelous light shines brightly, in His holy habitation. It illuminates our darkness and guides us along on the path of life. One thing I have desired of the LORD, that will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in His temple (Psalm 27:4).
