The Valley of Decision

Image
Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision. — Joel 3:14 (NKJV)  Deuteronomy 30:19-20 says: “I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;  that you may love the LORD your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days…” Now set your heart and your soul to seek the LORD your God. And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. (Romans 13:11-12 NKJV)

Rise Again

Image
“For a righteous man falls seven times, and rises again, but the wicked stumble in time of disaster and collapse.” — Proverbs 24:16 (AMP) The steps of a [good and righteous] man are directed and established by the LORD,
and He delights in his way [and blesses his path]. When he falls, he will not be hurled down, because the LORD is the One who holds his hand and sustains him. (Psalms 37:23-24 AMP) Many hardships and perplexing circumstances confront the righteous, but the LORD rescues him from them all. (Psalms 34:19 AMP) Do not get upset because of evildoers, or be envious of the wicked, for there will be no future for the evil man; The lamp of the wicked will be put out. (Proverbs 24:19-20 AMP) But the LORD will redeem those who serve him. No one who takes refuge in him will be condemned. (Psalms 34:22 NLT) “ Do not gloat over me, my enemies! For though I fall, I will rise again. Though I sit in darkness, the LORD will be my light. ” — Micah 7:8 (NLT)

Bless You

Image
Yahweh bless you, and keep you; Yahweh make His face shine on you, and be gracious to you; Yahweh lift up His face on you, and give you peace.’ — Numbers 6:24-26 (LSB) In Luke 1:28 (NKJV), the angel Gabriel said to Mary: “ Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women! ” Today, we are abundantly blessed because the LORD is with us and promises never to leave us nor forsake us. Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! (Psalms 34:8 NKJV) Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy. (1 Timothy 6:17 NASB1995) How blessed is everyone who fears Yahweh, who walks in His ways. (Psalms 128:1 LSB) He daily loads us with benefits. (See Psalms 68:19 NKJV) He will bless those who fear the LORD, both small and great. May the LORD give you increase more and more, you and your children. May you be...

Our Security & Stability

Image
The LORD is exalted, for He dwells on high; He has filled Zion with justice and righteousness. And He will be the security and stability of your times, a treasure of salvation, wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the LORD is your treasure. — Isaiah 33:5-6 (AMP) In these ever changing, and often chaotic times, Yahweh is our security and stability. He does not change. (See Malachi 3:6) Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6) He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Hebrews 13:8) Isaiah 33:6 (VOICE) says: God will be what holds things together, fast and firm during these times. King David said this about him: ‘I see that the LORD is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me. No wonder my heart is glad, and my tongue shouts his praises! My body rests in hope. (Acts 2:25-26 NLT) The Presence of the LORD is with you too. Let your heart be glad and your mouth continually sing His praises.

Recognize & Respond

Image
So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. — Romans 12:1-2 (MSG) The best way to recognize God's will and respond to His call is to consistently spend time drawing near to Him, and renew your mind with His Word. We need to continually renew our minds with the Word of God because our adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. (See 1 Peter 5:8 NASB) And the only offensive weapon we have is the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (See Ephesians 6:17). If we don’t know the Word, we allow the enem...

A Living Hope

Image
Celebrate with praises the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has shown us his extravagant mercy. For his fountain of mercy has given us a new life—we are reborn to experience a living, energetic hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. — 1 Peter 1:3 (TPT) Let us keep our hope in Christ, alive and energetic. Living within you is the Christ who floods you with the expectation of glory! This mystery of Christ, embedded within us, becomes a heavenly treasure chest of hope filled with the riches of glory for his people, and God wants everyone to know it! (Colossians 1:27 TPT) So then, with this amazing hope living in us, we step out in freedom and boldness to speak the truth. (2 Corinthians 3:12 TPT) …worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it. (1 Peter 3:15 NLT) For I’m releasing these words to you this day, yes, even to you, so that your living hope will be found in God alone, for he...

The Work of His Hand

Image
But now, O LORD, You are our Father, We are the clay, and You our potter; And all of us are the work of Your hand. — Isaiah 64:8 (NASB) In Revelation 22:17 (NLT), the Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” Let anyone who hears this say, “Come.” Let anyone who is thirsty come. Let anyone who desires drink freely from the water of life. When we come to the LORD, may we present to him a heart that is open and pliable. Let your heart be molded by His love, gentleness, kindness and compassion. May it be filled with His peace, patience, goodness, and faithfulness. Receive the joy of His Presence. With our heart in the hands of the Potter, we will be the unique masterpiece He created each one of us to be.

Drawn!

Image
The LORD appeared to me (Israel) from ages past, saying, “I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you and continued My faithfulness to you.” — Jeremiah 31:3 (AMP) Just as the LORD drew Israel to Himself, He has drawn us with unfailing love. His love never fails. It never runs out on us. Open your heart and receive the lovingkindness that He continually lavishes on us. Great is His faithfulness (Lamentations 3:23), and it endures to all generations (Psalm 119:90). He is faithful to see you through every trial. He is faithful to heal all your hurts. And He is faithful to provide all your needs. Declare His lovingkindness in the morning, and His faithfulness every night. (Psalm 92:2)

Drawn & Led by Love

Image
The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.” — Jeremiah 31:3 (NKJV) “In Your lovingkindness You have led the people whom You have redeemed;” — Exodus 15:13a (NASB) Our heavenly Father is not a harsh taskmaster. Everything He instructs us to do, or not to do is motivated by love. God loves His people with an everlasting love. With love He draws us out of dark places and leads us into His marvelous light. The flow of His compassion and kindness toward us never stops. There is a constant call for us to “COME” and “FOLLOW” Him. As we answer this call, we experience fullness of joy and know His unfailing love.

He deals Bountifully

Image
But I have trusted and relied on and been confident in Your lovingkindness and faithfulness; My heart shall rejoice and delight in Your salvation. I will sing to the LORD, because He has dealt bountifully with me. — Psalm 13:5-6 (AMP) When people run away from God, that is a sign that they don’t understand the true nature of our heavenly Father. God is good to us. Proverbs 10:6 (NLT) says, The godly are showered with blessings. It is the enemy that comes to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10a). Jesus came that we may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows]. (John 10:10b AMP). His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness… (2 Peter 1:3 NKJV) He has given us everything we need to live the kind of life He designed for us to live. Refuse to let the enemy steal what has been given to you. Be confident in God's lovingkindness and faithfulness. Rely on Him to be there when you need Him most. God is so rich in ...

Ready to Help

Image
I look to you for help, O Sovereign LORD. You are my refuge... — Psalm 141:8 (NLT) Don’t put your confidence in powerful people; there is no help for you there (Psalm 146:3 NLT). God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1 NLT). With God’s help we will do mighty things, for he will trample down our foes (Psalm 60:12 NLT). I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. ( Psalm 121:1-2 NIV )

The Way to Live

Image
Be cheerful no matter what; pray all the time; thank God no matter what happens. This is the way God wants you who belong to Christ Jesus to live. — 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (MSG) We can thank God in every circumstance because we know that He is working all things together for good in our lives. The LORD has been with you from birth; from your mother’s womb He has cared for you (Psalm 71:6a NLT). May our mouths continually give Him praise. Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah (Psalm 62:8 NKJV).

Don't Suffer Shipwreck!

Image
Cling to your faith in Christ, and keep your conscience clear. For some people have deliberately violated their consciences; as a result, their faith has been shipwrecked. — 1 Timothy 1:19 (NLT) Keep a firm grip on your faith. Don’t follow the world in thinking that anything goes. Instead, be led by the Holy Spirit within and you will maintain a clear conscience. I beseech you, my beloved brethren, don’t suffer shipwreck in regards to your faith. Fight the good fight, finish the race, keep the faith!

Early Will I Seek

O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water.  — Psalm 63:1 (NKJV) May God be the first One you seek after your eyelids open in the morning. Seek His Presence, and His will, in the morning and all day long. His love is better than life itself and in His Presence there is joy forevermore! Let your deepest affections be directed toward our great God.

Great Goodness in Store for You!

How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world.  — Psalm 31:19 (NLT) Take refuge in the LORD. He has abundant goodness in store for those who fear, revere and honor Him. Oh, how great is His goodness! You can remain confident that you will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living (Psalm 27:13). If you abide in the house of the LORD, surely His goodness and unfailing love shall follow you all the days of your life! (Psalm 23:6)

Look in Triumph

The LORD is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me? The LORD is with me; he is my helper. I look in triumph on my enemies. Psalm 118:6-7 (NIV) If the LORD is with you, who can stand against you? Our mighty God is the One who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies. Put no confidence in the flesh. For our struggle is against the rulers, the authorities, the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). With God we gain the victory, and He tramples down our enemies (Psalm 60:12). Amen!

Walk with the LORD

Jotham grew powerful because he walked steadfastly before the LORD his God. 2 Chronicles 27:6 (NIV) When our walk with the LORD is firm and unwavering, His power is consistently at work in our lives and His favor remains on us. If our feet do not stray from His path He keeps us from stumbling and enables us to stand on the mountain heights.

Restore My Life

Though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore my life again; from the depths of the earth you will again bring me up. You will increase my honor and comfort me once again. Psalm 71: 20-21 (NIV) You may be going through many bitter troubles but restoration is on the horizon. Our hardships are temporary, but we always have the loving arms of God to bring comfort and renewal. Weeping may last for the night but the sweet taste of joy comes in the morning. Hallelujah! Love, Jackie
