Trust God’s Action

Image
My counsel is this: Live freely, animated and motivated by God’s Spirit. Then you won’t feed the compulsions of selfishness. — Galatians 5:16 (MSG) Those who think they can do it on their own end up obsessed with measuring their own moral muscle but never get around to exercising it in real life. Those who trust God’s action in them find that God’s Spirit is in them—living and breathing God! Obsession with self in these matters is a dead end; attention to God leads us out into the open, into a spacious, free life.(Romans 8:5-6 MSG) Amen!

Those who trust God’s action in them find that God’s Spirit is in them—living and breathing God! Obsession with self in these matters is a dead end; attention to God leads us out into the open, into a spacious, free life. — Romans 8:6 (MSG) May we live the spacious and free life that is a result of giving our attention to God. The best thing to do is give it a decent burial and get on with your new life. God’s Spirit beckons. There are things to do and places to go! — Romans 8:12-14 (MSG) This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It’s adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike “What’s next, Papa?” (Romans 8:15 (MSG) Since God woke you up this morning, He has places for you to go and things for you to do. Let’s do whatever He has called us to do, His way. His ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9) Know that God has a plan for your life, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV). Every day of your life was recorded in His book. Every moment laid out before a single day had passed (Psalm 139:16). Don’t get stuck in what happened in the ...

This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It’s adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike “What’s next, Papa?” God’s Spirit touches our spirits and confirms who we really are. We know who he is, and we know who we are: Father and children. — Romans 8:15-16 (MSG) When are a chosen generation, chosen and called by God to be an active member of His family. When we walk with God we can expect one great adventure after another, as we go from glory to glory. We have a mission and a purpose to fulfill, as we make the most of the gifts and talents He has given to us. Put your hand in His, and be fully expectant for the adventurous journey God has for you today!
