He Forgives

Image
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us. — 1 John 1:8-10 (NKJV) “I know that you delight to set your truth deep in my spirit. So come into the hidden places of my heart and teach me wisdom. Keep creating in me a clean heart. Fill me with pure thoughts and holy desires, ready to please you.” (Psalms 51:6, 10 TPT) “Let my passion for life be restored, tasting joy in every breakthrough you bring to me. Hold me close to you with a willing spirit that obeys whatever you say.” (Psalms 51:12 TPT) “For the source of your pleasure is not in my performance or the sacrifices I might offer to you. The fountain of your pleasure is found in the sacrifice of my shattered heart before you. You will not despise my tenderness as I bow down humbly at your feet.” (Psalms ...

He is Near

Image
“Do not yield to fear, for I am always near. Never turn your gaze from me, for I am your faithful God. I will infuse you with my strength and help you in every situation. I will hold you firmly with my victorious right hand.” — Isaiah 41:10 (TPT) “When you pass through the deep, stormy sea, you can count on me to be there with you. When you pass through raging rivers, you will not drown. When you walk through persecution like fiery flames, you will not be burned; the flames will not harm you, for I am your Savior, Yahweh, your mighty God, the Holy One of Israel!” (See Isaiah 43:2-3 TPT) Don’t be afraid, anxious nor discouraged because the LORD is always near. Yahweh is the one who makes a way in the sea, a pathway in the mighty waters. (Isaiah 43:16 TPT) Nothing is too difficult for Him.

Be Captivated by Christ

Image
Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego replied to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to give you an answer concerning this matter. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the furnace of blazing fire; and He will deliver us out of your hand, O king. But even if He does not, let it be known to you, O king, that we are not going to serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.” — Daniel 3:16-18 (NASB1995) Our attitude and mindset should be similar to Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego before they were thrown into the fiery furnace. Know that our God is able to deliver us. Let us trust Yahweh to deliver us from all of our fiery furnace experiences. And no matter what happens, do not serve or compromise with the principles of this world, nor follow the traditions of men. See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than a...

New Every Morning

Image
The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.” — Lamentations 3:22-24 (ESV) Praise God! We get a fresh start every morning! No matter how badly we messed up yesterday, we can repent and move forward, doing the new thing the LORD has for us today. Lamentations 3:22 (CSB) says, because of the LORD’s faithful love we do not perish… So let us keep in step with YAHWEH, no looking back or taking detours, knowing that He loves us, no matter what.. May we open our hearts to receive His never ending supply of love and mercy. Allow Him to continually fill you with more of Him, and healing will come. He will turn your mourning into gladness. Weeping may last for the night, but joy comes in the morning. Hallelujah! And amen.  “ Indeed, the former things have come to pass, now I declare new things ...” — Isaiah 42:9a (AMP)

Real Love

Image
This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other. — 1 John 4:10-11 (NLT) God's love is real and it lasts forever. Nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. (See Romans 8:38) We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them. And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect. So we will not be afraid on the day of judgment, but we can face him with confidence because we live like Jesus here in this world. (1 John 4:16-17 NLT) Live in God and let Him perfect your love.

Times of Refreshing

Image
Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord; — Acts 3:19 (NASB) Let us repent of any ways we have missed the will of God. The Voice Bible says, …you need to rethink everything and turn to God… (Acts 3:19).  So repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, regret past sins] and return [to God—seek His purpose for your life], so that your sins may be wiped away [blotted out, completely erased], so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord [restoring you like a cool wind on a hot day]; (Acts 3:19 AMP) For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His lovingkindness toward those who fear Him. As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. Just as a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear Him. — Psalm 103:11-13 (NASB)

Shine!

Image
Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven. — Matthew 5:16 (NASB) As children of the Most High God, may we let the light of His love and grace shine brightly through us, that He may receive glory, honor and praise. The Passion Translation says: Let every activity of your lives and every word that comes from your lips be drenched with the beauty of our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One. And bring your constant praise to God the Father because of what Christ has done for you! (Colossians 3:17TPT) “ Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. ” — Isaiah 60:1 (NASB)

His Purpose Prevails

Image
We humans keep brainstorming options and plans, but God’s purpose prevails. — Proverbs 19:21 (MSG) Instead of getting upset and frustrated when things don’t work out as you had planned, keep a positive perspective. God’s ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9). What appears to be a setback, may actually be a set-up for God to show Himself mighty on your behalf. Just as Joseph went into a pit and in prison, before he made his way to the palace, the plans the LORD has for us are good. Be assured God will do abundantly more than you could ever ask or imagine.

Wonderfully Made

Image
For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well. — Psalm 139:13-14 (NKJV) God made you, uniquely you and He made you wonderful! His workmanship is marvelous. He sculpted you from nothing into something. Like an open book, He watched you grow from conception to birth; all the stages of your life were spread out before Him, the days of your life all prepared before you had even lived one day. (Psalm 139:14-16 MSG) God already knows what this day holds for you and He has prepared you to walk in victory. He goes before you and follows you. He places His hand of blessing on your head. (Psalm 139:5 NLT)

For The Light

Image
“And you shall command the children of Israel that they bring you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, to cause the lamp to burn continually.” — Exodus 27:20 (NKJV) Olive oil is made by a strenuous and tedious process of pressing olives. The Israelites needed olive oil for the morning and evening offerings, so it was an ongoing requirement that took diligence and dedication. In a similar fashion, as difficulties and troubles press us, let us commit to continually make the right choices and allow the impurities to be squeezed out of us. When we choose life and godliness, we allow God’s light to shine brighter and brighter through us. Be a vessel of His light. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; (2 Corinthians 4:8 NIV)

He Cares

Image
But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?” Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. — Mark 4:38-39 (NKJV) When our wind-beaten boat is being tossed to and fro by the stormy waves of life, and we can’t see anything good happening, with our natural eyes, it may seem that Jesus has fallen asleep on the boat. But rest assured that He is awake, He cares and He is at work in your life. Instead of panicking, exercise great faith and speak the Word of God over your circumstances. Be still and know that He is God and He has given you peace that can endure throughout all situations.

Sit Before Him

Image
Then King David went in and sat before the LORD; and he said: “Who am I, O Lord God? And what is my house, that You have brought me this far?” — 2 Samuel 7:18  (NKJV) With our busy, multi-tasking lifestyle, many of us have our conversations with God, on the go. However, it is so important for us to consistently withdraw from the world and sit before Him. Turn off the cell phone and allow no other distractions, as you fellowship with the God of all creation. Simply delight yourself in His Presence. It takes time with our heavenly Father, to become more like Him. Pour out your heart to Him and listen for His still small voice. As we spend time with Abba Father, we receive the answers to all our questions, we gain strength and we experience deep peace and great joy. Amen!

Joyful Call to Worship!

Powerful is your arm! Strong is your hand! Your right hand is lifted high in glorious strength. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne. Unfailing love and truth walk before you as attendants. Happy are those who hear the joyful call to worship, for they will walk in the light of your presence, LORD.  — Psalm 89:13-15 (NLT) Our God is mighty and powerful. His hand is higher and stronger than every circumstance that comes your way. Hear the joyful call to worship and be happy because it is the sound of victory! We can rejoice all day long, knowing that we are more than conquerors, in Christ. May the glorious light of His Presence, shine upon you.

He Watches Over You

The LORD will bless you and watch over you. The LORD will smile on you and be kind to you. The LORD will look on you with favor and give you peace.’ — Numbers 6:24-26 (GW) God does not show favoritism (Romans 2:11). He wants ALL people to be saved. And for all of His children to have life, and have it more abundantly (John 10:10), the kind of rich and satisfying life Jesus came to give us. The LORD watches over you wherever you go, for your good, not to harm you. He is working for you, not against you. May you experience the fullness of His favor and peace in your life, as you abide in JESUS!

More Joy!

Many are saying, “Who can show us anything good?” Let the light of your presence shine on us, O LORD. You put more joy in my heart than when their grain and new wine increase. Psalm 4:6-7 (GW) The glorious light of the LORD's face shines upon us. In the Presence of our heavenly Father, is fullness of joy; At His right hand are pleasures forevermore (Psalm 16:11). Don't let the enemy steal your joy.

A Future Hope

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 (NKJ) Don't let the present circumstances get you down. The LORD has everything already worked out. He has loving, peaceful thoughts toward you. The LORD has a wonderful plan for your life, a plan to give you hope and make you smile at the future.

No Good Thing

For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless. O LORD Almighty, blessed is the man who trusts in you. Psalm 84:11-12 (NIV) No good thing is withheld from those who do what is right. God's favor and honor is upon the person who obeys the LORD. Trust in the LORD and enjoy His plentiful blessings.
