Seek God's Help

Image
Oh, please help us against our enemies, for all human help is useless. With God’s help we will do mighty things, for he will trample down our foes. — Psalm 60:11-12 (NLT) Behold, God is my helper and ally; The Lord is the sustainer of my soul [my upholder]. (Psalms 54:4 AMP) In my distress [when I seemed surrounded] I called upon the LORD and cried to my God for help; He heard my voice from His temple, and my cry for help came before Him, into His very ears. (Psalms 18:6 AMP) Call upon the name of Yahweh. He is a very present help in trouble. How blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in Yahweh his God, (Psalms 146:5 LSB). Through God we shall do valiantly, and it is He who will tread down our adversaries. (Psalms 60:12 LSB) ...thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ! (1 Corinthians 15:57)

In the Morning

Image
It is good to give thanks to Yahweh and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning and Your faithfulness by night, — Psalms 92:1-2 (LSB) O Yahweh, our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth, Who displays Your splendor above the heavens!  When I see Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have established; What is man that You remember him,
and the son of man that You care for him? (Psalms 8:1, 3-4 LSB) Praise Yah! Praise Yahweh, O my soul! I will praise Yahweh throughout my life; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being. (Psalms 146:1-2 LSB) My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD; In the morning I will direct it to You, and I will look up. (Psalms 5:3 NKJV) “Let the dawning day bring me revelation of your tender, unfailing love. Give me light for my path and teach me, for I trust in you.” (Psalms 143:8 TPT) Sing praise to Yahweh, you His holy ones, and give thanks for the re...

He Empowers

Image
I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.] — Philippians 4:13 (AMP) In Matthew 11:29, Jesus said: “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me…” This indicates a side-by-side, Teacher-student relationship. We need to be teachable, open to learn from the Master. When we yoke ourselves to Jesus, He infuses us with strength to conquer every difficulty, and guides us to our desired destination. (See Philippians 4:13 TPT) The Lord gives us strength to do all that we have been called to do, by our heavenly Father. Be empowered by the grace that is in Jesus, the Anointed One. (See 2 Timothy 2:1 VOICE) In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [draw your strength from Him and be empowered through your union with Him] and in the power of His [boundless] might. — Ephesia...

Trust at All Times

Image
Trust [confidently] in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him. God is a refuge for us. Selah. — Psalm 62:8 (AMP) Though the fig tree does not blossom and there is no fruit on the vines, though the yield of the olive fails and the fields produce no food, though the flock is cut off from the fold and there are no cattle in the stalls, (Habakkuk 3:17 AMP), continue to trust Yahweh. Just as in Genesis 22:14, The-LORD-Will-Provide. As warnings arise about food shortages, and dwindling resources, continue to trust in the goodness of our great God. Trust in His faithfulness. He is a good and faithful Father who ALWAYS takes care of His children. He fed the Israelites for 40 years in the desert by providing manna from heaven. In the midst of the famine, in the land of Canaan, He provided resources and protection for His people, in the land of Goshen, through Joseph. (See Genesis 40) When the prophet Elijah was in the wilderness, the LORD sent ravens to bring him bread and ...

No Turning Back

Image
No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. — Philippians 3:13-14 (NLT) Leave the old life behind and reach forward to those things which are ahead. God is calling us to a higher place, a deeper place, in Him. Remember Lot’s wife. She looked back, when being rescued, and became a pillar of salt. (See Genesis 19:17&26) Nothing good comes out of trying to hold onto something God has called us out of. As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. (Psalm 103:12 NASB1995) The mercies of the LORD begin afresh each morning. (See Lamentations 3:22-23 NLT) Press on toward the goal. No turning back. “ Behold, I will do something new, now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it?
I will even make a roadway in the wilderne...

He Guards & He Guides

Image
I look up to the mountains and hills, longing for God’s help. But then I realize that our true help and protection come only from the Lord, our Creator who made the heavens and the earth. He will guard and guide me, never letting me stumble or fall. God is my keeper; he will never forget nor ignore me. — Psalm 121:1-2 (TPT) God is our guard, take refuge in Him. The Lord is also our guide, always follow the leading of His Holy Spirit. The Lord is our true Source of help. He’s protecting you from all danger both day and night. He will keep you from every form of evil or calamity as he continually watches over you. You will be guarded by God himself. You will be safe when you leave your home and safely you will return. He will protect you now,  and he’ll protect you forevermore! (Psalm 121:6-8 TPT)

In Every Season

Image
Be cheerful with joyous celebration in every season of life. Let joy overflow, for you are united with the Anointed One! Let gentleness be seen in every relationship, for our Lord is ever near. — Philippians 4:4-5 (TPT) Ecclesiastes 3:1 says: There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven— (NASB) Therefore, in every situation and season, let our hearts be full of gratitude, continually giving thanks to God. In every season, we are united with Christ. The Lord will lead us and guide us. In every season, He provides and He protects. Remember what God has done and look at what He is doing now. Our hearts will overflow with joy, as we believe God's Word and trust that He is working everything together for our good.

Go Deeper!

Image
...He said to Simon, “Put out into the deep water and let down your nets for a catch.” Simon answered and said, “Master, we worked hard all night and caught nothing, but I will do as You say and let down the nets.” When they had done this, they enclosed a great quantity of fish, and their nets began to break; so they signaled to their partners in the other boat for them to come and help them. And they came and filled both of the boats, so that they began to sink. — Luke 5:4-7 (NASB) The call of Jesus to come to Him, is a continual call. He calls us into a deeper relationship with Him. Dive deeper into His Word, into Worship and His Presence. Why live a surface level life, when you can go deeper in God and experience bountiful blessings in your life? When we do what Jesus says, we will have boat-sinking blessings, more than enough to share with others. Launch out, away from the shallow waters, and into the deep with Jesus! Be like Simon Peter, James and John, when they had brought ...

Praise Him for the Help of His Presence

Image
Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him for the help of His presence. — Psalm 42:5 (NASB) Sometimes we tend to focus on the things that are not right, which often leads to feelings of frustration and anger. But Psalm 37:1 says, “Do not fret because of evildoers, be not envious toward wrongdoers.” Instead of trying to figure out the wrongs, let us be students of the Word and truth. Let’s look at what is right and fix our eyes upon Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. May we thank God for all He has done and continually praise Him for all He is doing right now. Trust Him to right the wrongs, and work it all together for good. I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; from where shall my help come? My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. (Psalm 121:1-2 NASB)

He is With Us

Image
God’s way is perfect. All the LORD’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. — Psalm 18:30 (NLT) When circumstances appear contrary to what God has promised you, know that His way is perfect. God makes no mistakes and He has not forgotten about you. In every situation, we have His Presence. And in His Presence, we can walk in perfect peace, not moved by worldly events. He will keep in perfect peace all who trust in Him, all whose thoughts are fixed on Him! (Isaiah 26:3). In His Presence, we have His protection and the resources we need to fulfill His glorious purposes for us. His Presence enables us to persevere through all that life brings our way. His Presence with us, is His greatest gift. He will never leave us nor forsake us. He is our constant companion. Praise God for His wonderful Presence!

Abide In His Presence

Image
Surely the righteous shall give thanks to Your name; The upright shall dwell in Your presence.  — Psalm 140:13 (NKJV) The presence of the LORD is to be our dwelling place, our home, the place where we live. In His presence is fullness of joy, everlasting peace and unfailing love. For the LORD delights in his people; he crowns the humble with victory (Psalm 149:4 NLT). The LORD your God in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” (Zephaniah 3:17 NKJV). Abide in His presence!

Do Your Part!

But as it is, God has placed and arranged the limbs and organs in the body, each [particular one] of them, just as He wished and saw fit and with the best adaptation. — 1 Corinthians 12:14-18 (AMP) God knows the gifts, talents and abilities He has given to each one of us. And He has arranged us so that we can function well together and fulfill His plan. Whatever tasks you perform in your workplace or business and wherever you fellowship at, be confident that you have been equipped to do what God has called you to do, in that place. You have an instrumental role to fulfill in your circle of influence, in your marriage, family and every other place God called you to. So we, numerous as we are, are one body in Christ (the Messiah) and individually we are parts one of another [mutually dependent on one another].  — Romans 12:5 (AMP)   Let's value our differences and do our part!

Not Too Short!

Surely the arm of the LORD is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear.  — Isaiah 59:1 (NIV) Don't suffer shipwreck in regard to your faith. Keep your trust in the LORD, our God. He is mighty to save! His arm is longer and reaches deeper than any situation you may be facing, including  the effects of sequestration. You are safe and secure in the arms of our heavenly Father. Let Him quiet your troubled soul with His love.

The Source

The Word gave life to everything that was created,  and his life brought light to everyone.  The light shines in the darkness,  and the darkness can never extinguish it.  — John 1:4-5 (NLT) All things were made through the Living Word, Jesus Christ, and without Him nothing was made that has been made (John 1:3). He is the source of life, strength and hope. Jesus came that we may have life, and have it more abundantly (John 10:10). The life He gives, brings light to everyone. Connect to the Source so you can experience a full life and let His light brightly shine through you.

Life & Lovingkindness

You have granted me life and lovingkindness; And Your care has preserved my spirit. Job 10:12 (NAS) God saw our unformed bodies. His hands fashioned and made us. Our Creator knit us together with bones and sinews and clothed us with skin and flesh. In lovingkindness, He gave us the breath of life. He knows the number of hairs on our heads. The LORD chose us in Him before the creation of the world. His continual care preserves our spirits. Hallelujah!
