For every soldier called to active duty must divorce himself from the distractions of this world so that he may fully satisfy the one who chose him. — 2 Timothy 2:4 (TPT) Let us divorce ourselves from the distractions of this world. We do not belong to the world. (John 17:14) We have been called out of darkness into His wonderful light, so we can show others the goodness of God (1 Peter 2:9 NLT). Let us proclaim the excellencies of the Most High God. We were called to active duty, not to passively sit by the wayside and be a spectator. We are a chosen people, chosen to actively and passionately serve the LORD. May we fully satisfy the One Who called us. I am saying this for your benefit, not to place restrictions on you. I want you to do whatever will help you serve the Lord best, with as few distractions as possible. — 1 Corinthians 7:35 (NLT)

This unjust judge did not fear God, nor care about people, but he made sure a widow got justice because she kept troubling him with continual requests. (Luke 18:1-6). As disciples of Christ, may we have persistent faith. Never lose heart or give up. Surely, God will give justice to his chosen people who cry out to him day and night. When faced with challenges, faithful men and women of God believe His Word and continually stand on it. We pray at all times. But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light. — 1 Peter 2:9 (NLT) God chose us in Him before the foundation of the world (Ephesians 1:4). Whatever God delivered you from, it was not just for you. He chose you with a purpose and a destiny, that will effect the lives many. And if He woke you up this morning, He still has something for you to do. We are to show others the goodness of God. We can lead others out of the darkness of this world and into His marvelous light. Let us actively pursue the passions God has placed in our hearts, then we will live abundant, joyful lives and bear much fruit for His kingdom.
