Manna for Your Morning

It is because of the LORD’s lovingkindnesses that we are not consumed, because His [tender] compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great and beyond measure is Your faithfulness. — Lamentations 3:22-23 (AMP) The lovingkindness of Yahweh is in the heavens, His faithfulness reaches to the skies. (See Psalms 36:5 LSB) His faithfulness endures to all generations. (See Psalms 119:90 NKJV) Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. (Psalms 37:3 NKJV) For the mountains may be removed and the hills may shake, but My lovingkindness will not be removed from you, and My covenant of peace will not be shaken,” says Yahweh who has compassion on you. (Isaiah 54:10 LSB)

They are new every morning; Great and beyond measure is Your faithfulness. — Lamentations 3:22-23 (AMP) It is because of the LORD’s lovingkindness that He woke us up this morning. There is a continual flow of His compassions toward us. Great is His faithfulness! Because the LORD's compassions are new every morning, we don’t have to dwell on the shortcomings of yesterday. Today, we get a clean slate. We can press on, making the most of every opportunity He gives us. Because of His lovingkindness, He gives us wisdom, when we ask for it, and guides us along on the best pathway for our lives (Psalm 32:8). Because of His lovingkindness, we are free to live in fullness of joy, love, and peace.

Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.  — Lamentations 3:22-23 (NIV) As we wake up each morning, the LORD has given us new mercies and compassions. He does not hold grudges over the mistakes we made yesterday. Instead, the LORD is longsuffering and abundant in mercy. Once we confess our sins, He is faithful to forgive us and remember them no more. If He doesn’t hold our past against us, why do we sometimes have difficulty letting go and moving forward? Today, we have a fresh new start in Christ, let’s press on, toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. (see Philippians 3:13-14) For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. (Psalm 100:5 NIV)

“For I am the LORD, I do not change; Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.” — Malachi 3:6 (NKJV) Through the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness (Lamentations 3:22-23). When the LORD is at the foundation of our lives, we are building on solid ground, because He does not change. We can count on Him to be the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. His compassions never fail. His faithfulness and amazing love continues through the good times and through times of adversity. The LORD is good and He does good, always!

Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, “The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.” — Lamentations 3:22-24 (NIV) Because the LORD pours out new compassions and mercies upon us everyday, we are drenched in His goodness. His compassions toward us never grow old or dry out. Forget not all His wonderful benefits. He forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases. He redeems our lives from the pit and crowns us with lovingkindness and tender mercies. (Psalm 103:2-4) Blessed be the name of the LORD!

O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever! — Psalm 107:1 (AMP) The Lord is good and He does good. God is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving-kindness and truth (Exodus 34:6, AMP). He loves us with an everlasting love, a love never runs out on us. It is because of the Lord’s mercy and loving-kindness that we are not consumed, because His [tender] compassions fail not (Lamentations 3:22, AMP). Keep your eyes on the Lord, for He will perfect that which concerns you; (Psalm 138:8, AMP)

And the LORD passed before him and proclaimed, “The LORD, the LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth, — Exodus 34:6 (NKJV)  The LORD is abundant in mercy to all who call upon Him (Psalm 86:5). His mercy holds us up when we slip (Psalm 94:18). It is because of the Lord’s mercy and loving-kindness that we are not consumed (Lamentations 3:22, AMP). The LORD is gracious in all His works (Psalm 145:17). From His abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another (John 1:16, AMP). And He is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you may have an abundance for every good work (2 Corinthians 9:8). Let’s proclaim His name throughout the earth!

For God shows no partiality [undue favor or unfairness; with Him one man is not different from another]. — Romans 2:11 (AMP) God does not show favoritism and there is no partiality with Him. He loves each and every one of us. And there is nothing on this earth or in heaven that can separate us from His love. Psalm 139:17 (NLT) declares, “How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered!” May we be as consumed with thoughts about God and share His unconditional love with everyone He brings our way.

He packs each new day full with bright promises and gives us a fresh start. It is good to give thanks to the LORD, and to declare His lovingkindness in the morning (Psalm 92:1-2). Psalm 30:5 says, joy comes in the morning. Let us awaken the dawn and fix our eyes on Jesus, the Bright and Morning Star (Revelation 22:16). May your heart be filled with hope and expectation as you rise to face each new day.

Show me the wonders of your great love, you who save by your right hand those who take refuge in you from their foes.  — Psalm 17:7 (NIV) Great is the love the Father has lavished on us! He saves those who trust and take refuge in Him from those who rise up against them. The LORD daily bears our burdens and loads us with benefits (Psalm 68:19). He loves us so much that we are actually called God’s dear children. And that’s what we are (1 John 3:1, GW). Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; (Lamentations 3:22-23). Hallelujah!

Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.  — Psalm 143:8 (NIV) Because of the LORD's great love for us, we are not consumed. His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; (Lamentations 3:22-23). We can trust our heavenly Father to show us the way we should go, because His love for us goes on and on. Every morning, His compassions begin afresh. May we lift our souls up to Him and open wide the door of our hearts to His Presence.

Not unto us, O LORD not unto us, But to Your name give glory, Because of Your mercy, Because of Your truth.  — Psalm 115:1 (NKJV) The LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations (Psalm 100:5). Because of the LORD’s great mercy we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. He is longsuffering and abundant in mercy and truth. It's knowledge of His truth, that sets us free. Give glory to His name!

Lamentations 3:22-23 (NKJ) This morning as I began thanking the LORD for all the wonderful ways He has blessed me, I got so excited when I thought about the new compassions the LORD continually pours on us. When we opened our eyes this morning, we were blessed with brand new compassions. We don’t have to carry over the old ones from yesterday. It’s not a recycling program. We get to start fresh this morning, His compassions are created new EVERY morning! His mercies have no limit and they never cease. His compassions never fail. Praise the LORD!
