Manna for Your Morning

Hear my cry, O God; Give heed to my prayer. From the end of the earth I call to You when my heart is faint; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For You have been a refuge for me, a tower of strength against the enemy. — Psalm 61:1-3 (NASB1995) Yahweh is our protection from the fiery darts of the wicked one. He alone is our refuge, our place of safety; He is an impenetrable fortress from our enemies. I will say to the LORD, “My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!” For it is He who delivers us from the snare of the trapper and from the deadly pestilence. God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM”; and He said, “Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ — Exodus 3:14 (NASB) Our great God is all we need Him to be and more. He is a strong tower and a safe refuge in the storm. The LORD is our Shepherd, who leads and guides us. He watches over His people and takes care of us. The LORD is a friend to those who fear him. He teaches them his covenant. (Psalm 25:14 NLT)  YAHWEH is a faithful Father, and a constant Companion. You have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!” (Romans 8:15) His presence is always with us. When all others abandon us, He stands by our side. His Spirit dwells within us, and gives us strength. Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? (1 Corinthians 3:16) May your eyes continually look to the LORD from whom comes your help.

From the ends of the earth, I cry to you for help  when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the towering rock of safety, for you are my safe refuge, a fortress where my enemies cannot reach me. Let me live forever in your sanctuary, safe beneath the shelter of your wings! For You have been a shelter for me, a strong tower from the enemy. I will abide in Your tabernacle forever; I will trust in the shelter of Your wings. Selah — Psalm 61:3-4 (NKJV) When the storms of life hit, our mighty God is a safe refuge. He is a strong tower to shelter us from the storm. We have been given free access and a standing invitation, let us dwell in Him at all times. Draw near unto the LORD and trust Him. Trust in His power to protect you from the adversary. In Him we are safe. The name of the LORD is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe (Proverbs 18:10).
