Manna for Your Morning

This is the mess age we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; — 1 John 1:5-6 (NASB1995) The LORD is God, and He has given us light [illuminating us with His grace and freedom and joy]. (Psalms 118:27a AMP) “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of Yahweh has risen upon you. For behold, darkness will cover the earth and dense gloom the peoples; But Yahweh will rise upon you, and His glory will appear upon you. (Isaiah 60:1-2 LSB) Who is among you that fears Yahweh, that listens to the voice of His Servant, that walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of Yahweh and rely on his God. (Isaiah 50:10 LSB) May we continually live in the Light.

but if we [really] walk in the Light [that is, live each and every day in conformity with the precepts of God], as He Himself is in the Light, we have [true, unbroken] fellowship with one another [He with us, and we with Him], and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin [by erasing the stain of sin, keeping us cleansed from sin in all its forms and manifestations]. — 1 John 1:7 (AMP) Turn away from the deeds of darkness, and enjoy true unbroken fellowship with Yahweh, by following the Light of life we have within us. In John 8:12 (NASB1995) Jesus said: “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.” He gives light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.” (See Luke 1:79 NKJV) The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. ( Romans 13:12 NKJV) For you were once darkness, but ...

  God is faithful, through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. — 1 Corinthians 1:9 (NASB1995) …indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ. (See 1 John 1:3) The Amplified version says …our fellowship is a distinguishing mark of born-again believers. May our greatest delight be in the honor and privilege of being His Presence. Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? (1 Corinthians 3:16)  Ascribe to the LORD the glory due His name; Worship the LORD in the beauty and majesty of His holiness [as the creator and source of holiness]. — Psalm 29:2 (AMP)

O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth! — Psalm 8:9 (NASB) The great I AM, is the One true and living God. Blessed be the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. Great and marvelous are His works. He set the sun, moon and stars in place. He knit each and every person together in the womb of their mother. He knows each person by name and knows the number of hairs on our head. God is intimately acquainted with all our ways. He desires continual fellowship with His children and wants us to reflect His glory on the earth. He created each one of us with a purpose and a good plan for our lives. He wrote all our days in His book before we drew our first breath. That means He has already gone into your future and made a way for you. Amen.

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. — Hebrews 10:23 NKJV) God is faithful [He is reliable, trustworthy and ever true to His promise—He can be depended on], and through Him you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. (1 Corinthians 1:9 AMP) …He who promised is reliable and trustworthy and faithful [to His word]; (Hebrews 10:23b AMP) …the Master never lets us down. He’ll stick by you and protect you from evil. (2 Thessalonians 3:3 MSG) When people let you down, the Lord is by your side and He will strengthen you. So now we must cling tightly to the hope that lives within us, knowing that God always keeps his promises! (Hebrews 10:23 TPT) Cling tightly to the living hope we have in Jesus. Count on this: God is faithful and in His faithfulness called you out into an intimate relationship with His Son, our Lord Jesus the Anointed. — 1 Corinthians 1:9 (VOICE)

LORD, you light my lamp; my God illuminates my darkness. With you I can attack a barricade, and with my God I can leap over a wall. — Psalm 18:28-29 (CSB) For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. God has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9). Live as children of light— (Ephesians 5:8 CSB) …if we [really] walk in the Light [that is, live each and every day in conformity with the precepts of God], as He Himself is in the Light, we have [true, unbroken] fellowship with one another [He with us, and we with Him], and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin… — 1 John 1:7 (AMP)

A single day in your courts is better than a thousand anywhere else! I would rather be a gatekeeper in the house of my God than live the good life in the homes of the wicked. — Psalm 84:10 (NLT) One day in the Presence of our heavenly Father is better than a thousand anywhere else. May we prioritize His Presence and honor the privilege of being allowed access to fellowship with our holy God. O God, You are my God; I shall seek You earnestly; My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. Thus I have seen You in the sanctuary, to see Your power and Your glory. Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips will praise You. So I will bless You as long as I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.   (Psalm 63:1-4 NASB) Let us continually praise the LORD, because His unfailing love is better than life itself.

God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. — 1 Corinthians 1:9 (NKJV) Great is the faithfulness of our awesome God. Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise: (Hebrews 10:35-36 NKJV) So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. (Galatians 6:9 NLT)

And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely. — Revelation 22:17 (NKJV) The message of Jesus is always for us to come to Him. In Matthew 11:28 Jesus said, “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.” He continually invites everyone to come to Him. It’s an open invitation, to come close and fellowship with Him. In Matthew 14:29, Jesus said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. Peter had an extraordinary experience because He was willing and took action to approach Jesus. May we get out of the comfort of our boat and walk on the water with Jesus. All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. — John 6:37 (NKJV)

Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world. — James 4:8 (NLT) If you have let the world draw you away from God, come running back to Him. Isaiah 55:7, in the Message Bible says: ...come back to our God, who is lavish with forgiveness. Continually come closer to our heavenly Father and let Him love you the way only He can. Nothing in this world can satisfy our souls, like our Abba Father. May the greatest hunger of our hearts be for more His Presence in our lives. As we first fellowship with the LORD, then we are able to flourish in our relationships with others. “Pay attention, come close now, listen carefully to my life-giving, life-nourishing words. I’m making a lasting covenant commitment with you, the same that I made with David: sure, solid, enduring love.” (Isaiah 55:3 MSG)

First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world. — Romans 1:8 (NKJV) Before you do anything else, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. (1 Chronicles 16:13) Thank God for His Presence, that He will never leave you, nor abandon you. You are always on His mind. Thank God that all your days are written in His book and the plans He has for you are good. Thank God, that He who began a good work in you is faithful to complete it. (Philippians 1:6) Thank God for every good and perfect gift He has given to us from above. (James 1:17). The most important one being the gift of His Son, Jesus. Thank our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ for all that He sacrificed to bring us back into fellowship with our heavenly Father. And yes, I thank my God for you all!

“ Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. ”  — John 15:13-14 (NKJV) Jesus showed Himself a faithful friend when He gave His life to set us free and bring us into eternal fellowship with the Father. When you need a friend, Jesus is always there. He is a constant companion, and will never abandon you. He is compassionate and continually cares for you. Take whatever concerns you have to Him. Jesus is a [true, loving] friend who [is reliable and] sticks closer than a brother. (Proverbs 18:24b AMP). He is a loyal friend who loves at all times. (Proverbs 17:17a NKJV) Let us show ourselves friendly to God, by doing whatever He commands: loving Him with all of our hearts and souls, and by loving our neighbors as we love ourselves. (Matthew 22:37, 39) Amen.

The LORD is close to all who call on him, yes, to all who call on him in truth. — Psalm 145:18 (NLT) The key to experiencing a successful, productive and prosperous life is to consistently walk closely with our heavenly Father. We were created for fellowship with Abba Father and His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Psalm 27:10 NLT says, even if my father and mother abandon me, the LORD will hold me close. Our hearts long for that fellowship and anything else we use as a substitute leaves us empty. When we wander away from Him, we are like sheep gone astray. We end up falling into ditches and dark places. We don’t have to go to any particular place to maintain a closer walk with Him, since our body is His temple. We maintain a close intimate relationship with Him by having a continual conversation as we go about our day and always giving thanks. We keep that connection with Him as we praise Him for all He is doing and worship Him for who He is.  Come close to God, and God will come...

“You are the light of [Christ to] the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; — Matthew 5:14 (AMP) For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good and right and true (Ephesians 5:8-9 NLT). If we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7 NLT). We don't have to hide. He called us out of darkness and into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9). In the light we have abundant life, peace, and joy. So let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good deeds and moral excellence, and [recognize and honor and] glorify your Father who is in heaven (Matthew 5:16 AMP). Be the light of hope to those around you.

So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. Then God blessed them… — Genesis 1:27-28 (NLT)  Genesis 1:28 tells us the first thing on God’s heart after He brought human beings into existence was to bless us. The very fact that He created us, shows us that God had us on His mind. His thoughts of us are so great they cannot be numbered. (Psalm 139:17). He created us to enjoy a rich and deep love relationship with Him, one of continual fellowship. The best indicator of love is a desire to spend time with that person. God didn’t just put Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden and forget about them. Genesis 3:8, says He was walking in the garden in the cool of the day. God didn’t bring you into this world to forget about you. He wants a daily walk with you too. Let us nurture our relationship with the Lord. Make Him the number one priority in your life. I have written to you who are God’s children because you know the Father. I have written to you who are mature in the faith because you know Christ, who existed from the beginning. I have written to you who are young in the faith because you are strong. God’s word lives in your hearts, and you have won your battle with the evil one. — 1 John 2:14 (NLT) At every stage of our spiritual growth, there are two things that help us gain victory over the evil one: God's Word and His Presence. As we allow the Word of God to live in our hearts, we have an indispensable weapon that is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword. In addition, our fellowship with God enables us to gain victory over the Evil One. (1 John 2:14 MSG). When we stay closely connected to the Father, following Him every step of the way, our battles belong to the LORD and He always leads us in triumph in Christ. (2 Corinthians 2:14). Hallelujah!

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. — 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (NIV) When Jesus gave His life on the cross, to pay the debt for our sins, He restored us into fellowship with our heavenly Father. Where there was once separation, the blood of Christ brought us near to the Father of compassion. He is there to comfort us whenever we encounter troubles of any kind. He keeps track of all your sorrows. He has collected all your tears in His bottle. He has recorded each one in His book. (Psalm 56:8, NLT). When anxious thoughts multiply within you, His comforts will delight you. (Psalm 94:19). Amen.

Jesus said to them, “Come and eat breakfast.” Yet none of the disciples dared ask Him, “Who are You?”—knowing that it was the Lord. Jesus then came and took the bread and gave it to them, and likewise the fish. — John 21:12-13 (NKJV) This is now the third time Jesus showed Himself to His disciples after He was raised from the dead (John 21:14 NKJV). This interaction Jesus has with His disciples really shows His heart for the sheep and His desire to fellowship with us. It exemplifies the concern and compassion He has for each and every one of us. Jesus cares about you and He wants to spend time with you. Revelation 3:20 says, He stands at the door and continually knocks. If you hear His voice and open the door, He will come in to you and dine with you and you with Him. Open the door of your heart and dwell among those who know Him. Jesus is the bread of life (John 6:48). If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever (John 6:51). Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Bl...

Your God is present among you, a strong Warrior there to save you. Happy to have you back, he’ll calm you with his love and delight you with his songs. — Zephaniah 3:17 (MSG) Our heavenly Father takes great delight in you. He is the Mighty Warrior who saves. He sings songs of victory over us, because He has already made a way for us. Let His perfect love, calm all your anxieties and fears. Let His unfailing love comfort your soul. He enjoys fellowship with you. Draw near to Him and He will draw near to you. My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.” And my heart responds, “LORD, I am coming.” (Psalm 27:8 NLT)

He sent his servants to those who had been invited to the banquet to tell them to come, but they refused to come. — Matthew 22:3 (NIV) Jesus tells a parable about a king who is having a weeding feast for his son. But those who were invited made light of it and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his business. (Matthew 22:5 NKJV). They were too busy doing their own thing, to partake of what the king had for them. In Revelation 3:20 (NKJV), Jesus said, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” Jesus is trying to get something to you. He has prepared the banquet table. Don’t make light of the privilege and honor to fellowship with the King of kings. Open the door of your heart.
