His Ways are Higher

Image
“For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.” — Isaiah 55:9 (NKJV) Matthew 6:10 reads: Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Before Jesus endured the cross, He prayed, saying, “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done .” (Luke 22:42) That Friday before the resurrection, the situation did not look too good, but resurrection day came and Jesus sat down at the right hand of the throne of God, full of glory and majesty. God has a master plan and everything He does, is glorious, spectacular, and awe-inspiring. Instead of trying to force our own way, may we trust in the LORD with all our hearts, and lean not on our own understanding. (Proverbs 3:5) When things do not appear the way we think they should, let us know in our minds (be confident) and believe in our hearts (be joyful) that God’s plan is good and what He has purp...

You will See His Goodness

Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life. — Philippians 4:6-7 (MSG) We know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them (Romans 8:26-28 NLT). He already has every detail worked out, and placed into His master plan. So remain confident of this: you will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living (Psalm 27:13 NIV).

What Is It?

When the Israelites saw it, they said one to another, Manna [What is it?]. For they did not know what it was. And Moses said to them, This is the bread which the LORD has given you to eat. — Exodus 16:15 (AMP) Manna was bread from heaven which the LORD provided for the children of Israel to eat, for forty years. However, when it first came, they didn't recognize it. Sometimes God’s provision for us doesn’t come the way we thought it would or it doesn’t look the way we thought it should. At those times we must fully trust the LORD, and know that He has a master plan for our lives and it's a plan for good and not for harm. Let’s stand in faith, and be thankful for all of God’s provision.

Bright Hope!

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. — Roman 8:28 (NKJV) Not everything that happens in our lives is good, but we can be assured that God works all things together for good in His Master plan. Even in the midst of tragedy, God is still in control and His plans for us are for well-being and not harm, to give us bright hope and a glorious future!
