Take a long, loving look at me, your High God, above politics, above everything. ” Understand that our mighty God is above everything . He is above the current circumstances of this world, and He is above your current personal situation. Pause from busyness, and take a long loving look at the great “ I AM ”. Be still before the LORD. Center your thoughts on YAHWEH, Who He is, and all He has done. His love for you never fails, Our heavenly Father is mindful of everything that concerns you. Instead of being worried and anxious, be calm and confident. Psalm 37:7 (AMP) says, do not fret, whine, or agonize. As you cease striving, have an attitude of patience and trust in God. For we  live by believing and not by seeing. — 2 Corinthians 5:7 (NLT) Fear nothing—not wild wolves in the night, not flying arrows in the day, not disease that prowls through the darkness, not disaster that erupts at high noon. Yes, because God’s your refuge, the High God your very own home, evil can’t get close to you, harm can’t get through the door. Believe His Word in your heart and speak it out of your mouth. It’s what we trust in but don’t yet see that keeps us going. Take a long, loving look at me, your High God, above politics, above everything.” — Psalm 46:10 (MSG) Step away from the business of life, with its many distractions and take a long loving look at our mighty, awesome God. Adore Him. He is above politics, sports, and doctor reports. You don’t need a telescope, a microscope, or a horoscope to realize the fullness of Christ, and the emptiness of the universe without him. When you come to him, that fullness comes together for you, too. His power extends over everything. (Colossians 2:10 MSG)  Let us look only to Jesus, the Champion who initiates and perfects our faith (Hebrews 12:2) Look up to Him, from whom our help comes.

Recognize that He is a great and mighty God, full of grace, mercy and compassion. Acknowledge His Presence in your life. When you go through the floods and the fire, He is there. Understand that even when the world shuns you, our heavenly Father loves and cherishes you. He continually draws us closer to Him. When you give attention to our great God, everything else comes into proper perspective. He is exalted above all else. His huge outstretched arms protect you—     under them you’re perfectly safe;     his arms fend off all harm. — Psalm 91:1-4 (MSG) Just like the father’s arms of the prodigal son (Luke 15:11-24), our heavenly Father’s arms are outstretched toward us. No matter where you have been, He wants you to come to home, to come to Him, in His presence and under His protection. Keep me as the apple of Your eye; Hide me under the shadow of Your wings… ( Psalm 17:8 NKJV)

This is what the Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says: “Only in returning to me and resting in me will you be saved. In quietness and confidence is your strength. But you would have none of it.” — Isaiah 30:15 (NLT) With today’s multi-tasking, always-on-the-go lifestyle, we are constantly caught up in a flurry of activities, that will serve as distractions and cause us to drift away from the LORD. May we remember to unplug and unwind. Return to Him and rest in quietness and in confident expectation, that He will enable you to do all that He has called you to do. Settle down in complete dependence on Him. “Step out of the traffic! Take a long, loving look at me, your High God, above politics, above everything.” — Psalm 46:10 (MSG)

Those circumstances that cause anxiety and make you feel pressured, are under His control. God put all things in subjection under Christ. (Hebrews 2:8). Keep your eyes on Jesus and hold onto the peace He gives. Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7).

Let us be still and recognize that Almighty God is GOD. Draw near to Him and get to know Him, His ways, His will and His Word. Understand that He is exalted above all. He is over every circumstance in your life. If all others forsake you, God stands by your side. He is with you and He enables you to persevere and conquer all.

For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse (Romans 1:20, NIV). Remember now your Creator, the One who formed you in your mother's womb. Above all, He is God!

He sends orders from heaven and saves me, he humiliates those who kick me around. God delivers generous love, he makes good on his word.
