Who is the King of glory? The LORD, strong and mighty; the LORD, invincible in battle. Open up, ancient gates! Open up, ancient doors, and let the King of glory enter. He says: “…if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.” (See Revelation 3:20) Open up the door of your heart to the King of kings and Lord of lords. Make it a priority to dine with Him daily. He will calm all your fears and keep you in perfect peace, because He has overcome the world. The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid; for I know that you are looking for Jesus who has been crucified. He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said…” — Matthew 28:5-6 (NASB) In Luke 24:5, the men said to them, “Why do you seek the living One among the dead? He is not here, but He has risen.” Don’t seek the living One among the dead. Jesus is the Resurrection and Life  (John 11:25). Jesus is Immanuel, God with us! Christ is our risen Savior, King of kings and Lord of lords. His tomb is empty and He is seated on the throne. For the joy set before Him, Jesus endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Hebrews 12:2) God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.  — 1 John 4:9-10 (NLT)

Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me. — Revelation 3:20 (NASB) Jesus is continually knocking. Pay attention and have ears to hear His call. Open the door of your heart and invite Him in. Dine with the King of kings and the Lord of lords. He wants to bring healing and wholeness to every part of our hearts and every area of our lives. May we partake of the living Bread. In John 6:48 (AMP), Jesus said: “I am the Bread of Life [the Living Bread which gives and sustains life].” Let the Living Water satisfy your soul. In John 7:37 (NLT) Jesus stood and shouted to the crowds, “Anyone who is thirsty may come to me!” “Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’” (John 7:38 NLT) You spread out a table before me, provisions in the midst of attack from my enemies; You care for all my needs, anointing my h...

Ascribe to the LORD the glory and honor due His name; Bring an offering [of thanksgiving], and come before Him; Worship the LORD in the splendor of holiness. — 1 Chronicles 16:29 (AMP) Worship the King of Kings and Lord of lords. Worship Him with all your heart, mind and soul. He is our risen Savior and mighty Redeemer. He redeems our lives from destruction (Psalm 103:4). He is the Messiah, and Master of our lives. We were bought with a price, the precious blood of Jesus. (Acts 20:28, 1 Corinthians 6:20) Jesus is our strong foundation and the Solid Rock on which we can stand. He is our refuge and strong fortress where we can hide in times of trouble. He is our deliverer. He delivers us from our enemies. Christ is the chief Cornerstone. He who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame. (1 Peter 2:6) Let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. (Hebrews 13:15) He is worthy of all honor, praise and glory.

There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven—  ....a time to be silent and a time to speak. — Ecclesiastes 3:1, 3:7b (NASB) Sometimes silence speaks louder than words. We have to discern when to speak and when to be silent. In Mark 15:2 (NKJV), Pilate asked Jesus, “Are You the King of the Jews?” He answered and said to him, “It is as you say.” Then in Mark 15:3 when the chief priests accused Him of many things, Jesus answered nothing. In Mark 15:4-5, they testified many things against Him, but Jesus still answered nothing. The only question Jesus gave validity to was about Him being King. Jesus did not defend Himself regarding false accusations. People may accuse you and testify against you, but hold your peace and let God fight your battles. Our God is King of kings and Lord of lords. He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn, and the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun. (Psalm 37:6 NLT) My soul, wai...

Hear Him!” — Matthew 17:5 (NKJV) There are many voices that go out into the world today. There is the voice of the medical professional with the bad report, but hear the Word, by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Jesus is the great Physician. There is the voice of Scribes and Pharisees (religious people) who focus on rules and regulations instead of a personal relationship with the lord of Lord and the King of kings. There are the voices of the the news reporters, who speak gloom and doom, but in the Kingdom of God we have the Good News. May we have ears to hear Jesus, the Living Word. Jesus said: “ These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. ” (John 16:33 NKJV) Mary sat at Jesus’ feet and h...

And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. — Luke 2:7 (NKJV) Jesus stands at the door of your heart and knocks. Will you lay aside the excuses, remove the barriers and let Him come in? Is there room in your heart for our eternal Savior, or are your affections set on temporary pleasures and material possessions? Is their space available in your mind for thoughts about the King of kings and the Lord of lords, or is it totally cluttered with cares and concerns and of this world? The Lord is always thinking of us. Psalm 8:4 says, “What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him?” May we be mindful of His goodness, and the wonderful works He has done and is currently doing in our midst. Let His Presence occupy every crevice of your heart. His Presence in our hearts is the most excellent and perfect present we could ever receive.

And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. — Luke 10:41 (NKJV) This time of year so many people run around feeling like Martha, worried and troubled about many things. Let us prioritize our list of tasks and give more weight to the important things. And the most important thing is to keep the main thing, the main thing, that is to celebrate the birth of Christ, our Lord and Savior. He is Immanuel: “God with us.” The Eternal One. The Prince of Peace and the living Word. Don't let the worries and cares of this world and the distractions of this season, with its worldly pleasures and man-made traditions creep in and choke the word of life right out of you. Set your attention and your affections on Jesus, the King of kings and the Lord of lords! And touching others with His love, joy and peace.

David was greatly distressed because the men were talking of stoning him; each one was bitter in spirit because of his sons and daughters. But David found strength in the LORD his God. — 1 Samuel 30:6 (NIV) When David and his men came to Ziklag, their enemies had invaded the city, attacked it and burned it with fire. (1 Samuel 30:1) And their wives, their sons, and their daughters had been taken captive. (Samuel 30:3) Then David and the people who were with him raised their voices and wept until they were too exhausted to weep [any longer]. (1 Samuel 30:4 AMP) But David found strength in the LORD. When the enemy invades your life and everything seems lost, find strength in the Lord of lords and the King of kings. When those who once walked with you, hurl bitter insults and accusations against you, find strength in our faithful God. Early on Sunday morning, as the new day was dawning, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went out to visit the tomb (Matthew 28:1 NLT).  After seeing the empty tomb and speaking with the angel, the women ran quickly from the tomb. They were very frightened but also filled with great joy, and they rushed to give the disciples the angel’s message, that Jesus was risen from the dead. And as they went, Jesus met them and greeted them. And they ran to him, grasped his feet, and worshiped him. — Matthew 28:6, 8-9 (NLT) Like Mary and Mary, let us diligently seek the Lord Jesus. Be filled with great joy knowing that as you seek Him, Jesus will meet you right where you are. May we bow down and worship the King of kings and the Lord of lord, Jesus, our risen Savior!

For we did not follow cleverly devised stories when we told you about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ in power, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty. — 2 Peter 1:16 (NIV) Jesus the Christ. He is more than a Christmas story. He is the blessed and only Sovereign Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone has immortality, (1 Timothy 6:15-16). And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6). He received honor and glory from God the Father when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, saying, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.” (2 Peter 1:17 NIV) When John was in prison he heard about the works of Christ, and began to wonder if Jesus was the one. He sent two of his disciples to ask Jesus, “Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?” (Matthew 11:2-3) Today, let there be no doubt, we don’t have to wonder. He is the living Word, the Son of God, Savior of the world.

Then Peter called to him, “Lord, if it’s really you, tell me to come to you, walking on the water.” “Yes, come,” Jesus said. So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. But when he saw the strong wind and the waves, he was terrified and began to sink. “Save me, Lord!” he shouted. — Matthew 14:28-30 (NLT) As long as Peter focused on Jesus, he was able to walk on water. The moment he looked at the wind and the waves, fear gripped him and he began to sink. Let us be careful what we look at. When the storms come, do not let them be a distraction. As we keep our eyes on Jesus and continue moving closer to Him, He will enable us to do all that we are called to do. Instead of studying your storm, examine the living Word of God. Instead of worrying about your storm, worship the One who is greater and higher than any weather pattern. Jesus! He is King of kings and Lord of lords and He reigns. We have already won the victory because greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because Jesus has overcome the world. (John 16:33). Thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ (2 Corinthians 2:14 NKJV). In Him, we are more than conquerors. Be faithful to His call. …you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light. (1 Peter 2:9 NLT)

The women were terrified and bowed with their faces to the ground. Then the men asked, “Why are you looking among the dead for someone who is alive? — Luke 24:5 (NLT) When the women went in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus, in the tomb, they were greatly perplexed (Luke 24:3-4). Don’t be puzzled, and have no doubt, Jesus is no longer on the cross and His tomb has been empty. Jesus is Alive! He is our Advocate, who pleads our case before the Father. He is the One who is truly righteous. He conquered sin, death, and the grave. For over 2,000 years He has been actively engaged in the lives of His people, to bring about the Father’s will on the earth. Jesus overcame His enemies, for He is LORD of lords and KING of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful.” (Revelation 17:14). Do you stand with Him today?

“Glory to God in the highest [heaven], and on earth peace among men with whom He is well-pleased.” — Luke 2:14 (AMP) In a world that is full of chaos and disaster, the only peace we find is in our amazing love relationship with the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Let the peace of Christ [the inner calm of one who walks daily with Him] be the controlling factor in your hearts [deciding and settling questions that arise]. To this peace indeed you were called as members in one body [of believers]. And be thankful [to God always]. (Colossians 3:15 AMP)

They entered the house and saw the child with his mother, Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. — Matthew 2:11a (NLT) The initial response the wise men had when they entered the presence of Jesus was to bow down and worship Him. Bowing down is an act of surrender and submission. It’s an acknowledgement of His lordship over our lives. Bowing down is an indication of a humble heart. It says not my will but Your’s be done. As wise men and women, may we bow down and worship Jesus, the Lord of lords and King of kings, every day God gives us breath. He is called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last. He is worthy of all praise and honor! Alleluia!
