When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. Just as making a beautiful creation out of a lump of clay is a process, so is the work Yahweh is doing in each one of us. Even in difficult times we are being shaped and molded to fulfill the plans and purposes He has for us. It may not always look pretty, but He has made everything beautiful in its time. Maybe you're carrying a burden the LORD never intended for you to carry. Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you (1 Peter 5:7 NLT). Just like any good parent, our heavenly Father doesn't want to see us struggle under the load of heavy burdens. Put whatever concerns you have, in God's more than capable hands. Pile your troubles on God’s shoulders— he’ll carry your load, he’ll help you out. He’ll never let good people topple into ruin.
